About Nigel
I enjoy working with people and hearing your stories and ‘the more challenging the situation, the more beautiful the solution.’
During a thirty year career as a police officer, l worked in high-pressured environments and dealt with stressful incidents, often meeting people at the lowest point in their lives. I was tested by the responsibilities of running my own police station.
I have experienced the impact of stress, depression and physical injury on my overall health which is why I can help you avoid going through what I did. Such experiences enabled me to effectively support colleagues deal with their own challenges and clients to stay healthy.
Following retirement from the police force, I travelled round the world with my wife for six months, which included camping in Australia and New Zealand. On my return I founded my coaching practice, alongside buying and managing property, working with barristers on complex criminal trials and accepting over sixty invitations to speak about my policing career.
I have no ‘ideal client’, but many busy people come to me to help them balance their lives. Having experienced the effects of stress, I have an interest in making sure they understand the importance of looking after their own wellbeing.
Keeping up to date
Coaching is both my passion and a way of life. Every year, I spend thousands of pounds attending courses, seminars, reading books and listening to CDs to update my knowledge and skills. Recently, I attended Michael Neill’s Supercoach Academy. This involved spending six weekends in New York City learning from the world’s best coaches. I believe in coaching and have my own coach. By keeping in regular contact with other top coaches, I’m aware of what works and what doesn’t.

If you are serious about changing something in your life let’s get together and have a talk on how I can best serve you. There is no charge for the initial session.
